How come the middle name of Dorothy isn't insanely popular in this day and age. Think about it: Laura Dot Kovacs. That has such a 21st century feel to it, it's blowing my mind!
Laura doesn't appreciate the awesomeness of this new trend that I'm trying to start. (Big surprise there, eh?) She thinks the name 'Dot' is a little too, 1910s I guess. I might also add that its a family name. In fact, the story was I was going to be named Dorothy, except I popped out as a boy, spoiling everything.
So, if you want to name your child with the middle name Dorothy, go ahead. Do it for me. Do it because its insanely cool!

How can I trust a man who also likes the name Ada because it's a programming language? I think that you should be taken out of the decision completely after these two ideas!
I don't like it because its a programming language, I like it because its an awesome name. And, as an added bonus, its the name of the first computer programmer ever!
what about the @ symbol? Is there a name for that? That's jeff's suggestion.
You were going to be named Paula Dorothea (if you had been a girl) and we were going to call you "Polly Dot". True.
Ugh. I like my story better. :)
Peter,
I think its a fantastic idea. And with your cool domain name, think of the cool subdomain naming possibilities for your female offspring! :)
....
Cheers
